| Doesn't Microsoft Press go through the errors, and publish an errata of some sort in their website

Sometimes. Some of the errors I fond in the 70-229 training guide were
never published. Whether or not they were 'fixed' in revised editions
of the book, I don't known.
But the point is why don't they employ a few people to proof read the
contains or is it the proof readers know as little as the authors?
In any case it's just poor, but that's microsoft for you.
