Author Transcender and Self Test Software (70-100)

Hello,

Does anybody use Self Test Software for 70-100? I have both Transcender and
Self Test Software, and I do not like Self Test Software at all. What
simulation is more similar to the real exam? Is it worth studying from Self
Test Software, or just Transcender is enough? I wish the real exam had not
much common with the Self Test Software simulation.

And one more question regarding the real exam: Can I back to the case study
any time?

Thanks,

Leszek Taratuta

Transcender should be enough. I tell my students that, as long as they can
normalize a database and read, they should be able to pass the exam. I
found it to be a very long reading comprehension exam.

I don't have the STS version, but do have the Transcender and it's very
similar to the live exam.

Yes, from the questions related to that case study, any time. Once you
finish a case study though, 70-100 does not allow you to return to it. I
think it's the only MS exam like that.

There is one more thing needed: patience!
I didn't have enough when I took 71-300.
I finished after 2.5 hours and left.
I didn't want to go back and spend the rest of the 2 hours correcting my
answers.

Transcender emulates the format of the real exam quite well. The demo
would have done rather than buying the whole thing.

> Is it worth studying from Self Test Software, or just Transcender is enough

The test only tests you on subjects, which as a software developer,
you perform in your day to day job function (one would assume).

Data flow, entity relationship & work flow diagrams (or variances of)
are just part of every day life.

Yes but only within the current case study.

Regarding exam navigation. I understand that once you exit a case study,
you cannot return to it... Question: Once in a case study, can you navigate
freely back and forth between the case study text and the questions?
