Took 70-300 Beta today

| The test went fine without any technical problems with VUE. I used all the
time available 4.5 hours (I think) and 90 questions. Great cases where you
need to be able to read requirements, analyze and transform them into
conseptual and logical models. This is a great test where you need to know
about .net and architecture. Since English is not my primary language - this
was the acid test.

| I took it today also.
I agree with others that it was a LOT like the old 70-100 exam.
In fact I used my old book to study and I'm guessing that I passed.
The only new topics in there had to do with Web Services, Enterprise
Templates, and Serviced Components.

| There were 102 questions on my version of the exam! I should get extra
credit since it sounds like the rest of you only had 90 questions.
Took me about 3 hours.

| Hi Steve
Let me guess... you wrote with Prometric ?
I've found the Prometric form of this test particularly
poor. The test crashed on me four times at different
locations in the test, and even after I moved to a new
testing workstation. Also when I went to start my test I
was given only 203 minutes.
I believe that now that I've thouroughly experienced both
Vue and Prometric testing systems, that VUE's is by far
more superior and stable.
More appropriately though, I though the test content was
of a good standard, and the questions and scenarious given
was in improvement over 70-100.

| Hi Steve.
I took Prometric too (and it worked without a hitch). I
also got 102 - but they were 'items' not questions. Each
section had one intro and a case study - hence 12 extra
items overall.
cheers.

| there were NOT 102 questions on your exam!
just like mine, there were 102 ITEMS in the exam.
This includes 1 page of title for each case study and 1 tabbed page
for all the details of the case study itself.
there were 6 case studies.... 6x2 = 12. 102 - 12 = 90 questions, 90/6
= 15 questions per case study!
:-)

| If memory serves me, I believe it was:
14 questions case study #1
16 questions case study #2
15 questions case study #3
15 questions case study #4
15 questions case study #5
15 questions case study #6
