| I'm switching to IT line and I'm going to take exams. I'm still considering
whether to take VC6 or VB6 (both desktop and distributed).
Which skills is much sought after(VC6 or VB6)?
The reason I'm asking this, I'm more proficient on VC6, I had done VB6
programming long ago and have forgotten most of the VB things. And I usually
saw more jobs ads requiring for VB skills than VC's in my home-country's
newpapers.
So what do you say? VC or VB?
Currently, I have no plans to go for the .Net platform yet.

Do both, won't do any harm.

Remember there more 'VB' jobs but even more people who think they can
do the job.
Less VC++ jobs but there are less people who can do the job.

Why not? It's been around for more than two years, and after all, you
would not want to get left behind.
