| I am new to Microsoft certifications. Can somebody tell me
what is the test pattern for Desktop Application
Development in VB 6.0 and .NET exams? I get a lot of
information on course objectives, coverage, topics etc.
but I don't get any information on test pattern. Do these
tests contain only multiple-choice questions? Somebody
said there are simulation questions. How many questions
can I expect to be of simulation type?

| That depends widely on the exam. For the most part, you're looking at
multiple choice, but on the Solution Architecture exam, there are a lot of
interactive items. You can get a decent idea about what's on the exam by
downloading the trial version of the corresponding Transcender.

| Kyle's post sums it up, but the new Solutions test is yet unknown. I hear
it will be a beast though. Beta is coming out soon, so hopefully we will
get some feedback from tester willing to share.
