Author Passed 70-315!

Hey guys.
I just finished 70-315 and passed it.
Here is what I felt about the exam.

Each question was quite lengthy. I only had a few minutes left when I
finished answering all the questions.
I would say each question was unnecessarily long. I wish I had had 30 more
minutes.
Here is the weight of each area.

(1) ADO .NET (30% - 40%)
I thought there were many questions on ADO .NET. DataSet, DataTable,
DataView, Sorting, SqlDataAdapter,
SqlConnection, etc...

(2) Session related questions (3 to 4 questions)
You need to know the difference between Session, Application and Cache
objects and how they are used.

(3) Security
I think security in ASP .NET is quite big. Review how to configure security
using Web.config as well as Machine.config.

(4) Debugging
Make sure you understand Trace, Debug objects and how you can output the
trace to each page using Web.config and
disable tracing on certain pages.

(5) User Control, Custom Control

(6) How to call ActiveX Control

That's all I can remember...

I thought my real coding experience really helped me with passing the exam.
I can definitely say that 315 is more difficult than
316.

Good luck to you all!

Have you taken the 316 yet??
I already took it and plan to take the 315 next week.
The 315 seems easier from what I have studied but I could be wrong.
The ADO was already covered in the 315 so there is less to study.
I appreciate your comments and appreciate your post.

Yeah I already passed 316 and I felt 315 was more difficult than 316.
I'm sure it really depends on each individual's experience and knowledge,
but at least that's what I felt.

I forgot to mention that there were 55 questions.

I've been programming both clients as well as web sites using C# for a
couple of years.
The hardest thing for me was the security questions on the 316.
The web stuff seems easier than some of the client material.
The language and ADO remains constant.
