Author Passed 70 - 100...

I cleared 70-100 Solutions Architecture exam with a score
of 985 / 1000. It was a tough one.

Last 40 days have been really hectic. Cleared 2 C# exams
70-316, 70-320 & the SQL Server 70-229.

But in the end, the reward of 2 Certificates - MCAD .NET &
now MCSD really gives me a good feeling - only thing my
wife & son don't think so. They would rather have me spend
more time with them than the books! :-).

I wonder though how much different the new .NET Solutions
Architecture exam is going to be!

Sincerely,
Sridhar Krishnaswamy,
MCAD .NET, MCSD

Did you have other tests already under your belt? Or do the C# and SQL test
count instead of the VB6 tests? If this is the case I may take the 70-100
just to round out with the MCSD credential.

Let me know,

The SQL 229 exam is a popular MCSD elective, but I don't think the .Net
exams can count toward the current MCSD certification. You'd either need VS6
desktop and distributed exams, or wait for 70-300.

Yes. I had passed 70-175 & 70-176 way back in 1999. 70-229
is one of the electives that counts towards .NET and the
conventional MCSD Certification. So, I took 70-229 with
the aim of completing both MCSD & MCAD .NET at the same
time.

Last few years, I had moved away from Microsoft Technology
into J2EE. C#, being so similar to Java brought me back
into the Microsoft arena.

For MCSD .NET, I still have to clear 70-315 & 70-300.

Sridhar.
