| Hello, i just pass the 70-306 exam today, and i'm trying to sign in at the
mcp member site, but it doesn't accept the access code (or the mcp id). In my
score report i have the numbers for CANDIDATE ID, SITE ID, REGISTRATION and
VALIDATION. Does anybody knows if any of these are the access code and if so,
why it doesnt work on the mcp member site???

| Hello,
Just wait few days until you will receive a code for accessing private site.

| Hi,
You will receive a mail with your MCP ID the day after you passed your exam.
This is the ID you need to sign in to the MCP site.
Congrats on passing your exam!

| You're gonna get 2 mails, if you already did and you get an error on the
site, check my topic " MCP ID error" and just mail the guys of MS and wait a
week.
Although, that's how it went with me ; )
Grtz,

| On June 28, I accesed the MCP Member Site to login and went through the
process described in this URL
http://www.microsoft.com/learning/m...tructions_a.asp
to set up a passport ID to be able to login. I remember it was June
28, because the site was down for re-tooling from June 24-26 and I gave
them an extra day and did not attempt to login until June 28. And I
remember changing my street address and phone number because it had my
home info for my prior apartment. At some point during this
verification process, the URL in my address bar for a split-second
changed to www.membersedge.whatever and I didn't think anything of it.
I figured, Member's Edge, MCP Member, what's the difference. So,
flash-forward to yesterday when I go to retrieve my phone bill on-line
and I see two charges of $14.95 each dated June 28 from a company
called ESBI Member's Edge for a "setup fee" and a "voicemail fee". I'm
thinking WTF?! Then I'm remembering that URL switcheroo thing that
happened when I set up my login to the MCP Member site. If Bill Gates
needs $14.95 that badly, he still shouldn't be messing with MY phone
bill to get it. So I called my phone company to dispute the charges
and also reported this phone bill cramming incident to my state's
Public Service Commission which regulates the local phone company.
Then I tried to access the MCP site this evening, and after logging in
with my passport ID and password, the page goes to this URL
http://s.microsoft.com/learning/Err...rrorKey=Default and the
page said this: "There was some problem while completing your request.
Please try after some time" Then when I tried to click the Back key in
IE to go back to the previous page, it printed "we need You!" in the IE
URL address bar! Is this freakin' weird or what? What is going on
with the MCP Member website?? I'm going to avoid it like the plague!
