Office XP Step by Step Interactive Training CD error

I have Office XP Step by Step Interactive Training
installed but I can't use it. I always get an "error
reading the registry" window. I have Microsoft Windows
XP media edition and Office XP for Students and
Teachers. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.
