| Hi,
I've been trying to print a copy of my transcript from my MCP secure site
and all I get is:
Your browser does not support ActiveX. You must have ActiveX support to
print your transcript.
My machine is a W2k Pro with IE 6.
Here is what About IE displays:
- Version: 6.0.2600.0000
- Encryption level: 128 bits
- Product ID: 55811-414-1029072-04536
- Updates: 0
Any idea on what I have to do???
Thank you, Peace.

| Make sure your browser setting is enabling ActiveX.
Look at your IE - Tools - Internet Options - Security.
Click on Custom Level..., then make some adjustment in your ActiveX security
settings.
HTH.

| You will need admin privileges then, is this a PC on a work LAN? If so you
might have to get assistance from your helpdesk.

| Peace,
You can configure ActiveX settings in your browser. However, if you're
working towards your MCSA it's kind of expected that you would know that.

| Thank you all for you kind remarks. Just to let everyone know, I am NOT a
paper MCP/MCSE nor anything of that kind. It just never happened to me to
use the security tab on IE.
Though I didn't like you remark Greg, let me tell you that you're right. the
PC is on a LAN. Policy editor on the NT4 PDC does prohibit changing the
security settings of IE.
And I don't know much about ActiveX. Is there a problem with that!!!

| Techie,
On my last job, I supported the IT department. Man, EVERYONE had MCSEs
(except me). You would not believe the issues I had to resolve for them.
Configuring their Outlook to connect to the Exchange server, changing screen
resolutions, system reloads after they "improved their performance". It was
trendy there. "Hey, guys lets go get certified!" They knew nothing about
PCs. They's go pass a test then bring in their list of Qs and As for
everyone else to copy and read.
Peace,
Not a slam toward you because I don't know you. Just sayin I know where
Techie's comin from.

I know of an MCSE who does not know how to map a drive.

| One of the cutest things was a call on changing the screen res. I believe
his words were, "All the pictures and stuff are too big." Well at least
they tought him the technical terms in those braindumps.
