| hi,
I am interested in MCSA exam,so I would like to install a
network at home with 2 PCs (windows 2000).
Is possible to connect these 2 computers by COM or serial
port together as a client-server or I should use network
card for this purpose.
thnk you

| You can use serial or usb cables to connect 2 PCs. but if you are intersted
with networking i suggest to add ethernet cards to your PCs. that's the best
way to learn about networking.

If you want to learn networking, your best bet is getting familiar with
NIC's Ethernet and CAT5 or 6. Stay way from networking via usb or COM.
My two cents....
