I was referred to Transcenders as being a good test as to whether or not you
are ready to actually sit down and right the real exam. The people I spoke
to said that these exams were harder than the real thing and that if you
could pass them you were ready for the real exam. I must say that I have not
written the Microsoft exams yet so I can not say for sure if this is true,
but it is what I am using along with the MS Press books.

I used the Sybex study guides for all of my MCSE studies and had good
success with them. Still, different people are drawn to different
presentation styles. I'd highly recommended downloading the sample
chapters available from many publisher's websites or browsing at the
bookstore.

If you are taking 70-210 as part of an overall MCSE course you should
consider one of the combination packs for books. You end up saving
quite a bit buying four books at once.

For some ideas on books to look at for 70-210, take a run over here:

Good luck!

Best thing to do is study for both Pro and Server at the same time. They both overlap alot. I looked over both the ms press books, did a load of labs, and wrote the exams a month apart (and passed). I never had alot of luck with exam sims. I just start memorizing the questions, and get over confident.
