Start of MCSE certification

| I'm going to start seriously studying for the certification tests, and would
like to get some advice. What are some of the best study materials and
where do I find them? I don't have any other certifications at this point.
Do you think that it would be wise to first take other certifications? If
so, which ones would you recommend?
Thanks
Robert

| You didn't mention your background which is important in answering your
questions.
Lots of experience, none, some, etc.
I used the MS training kits and Examcrams for reading material for the MCSE
but I suspect your question is deeper.
Thanks,
Glenn

| My work experience is minimal when it comes to dealing with system problems
and programming. I am very analytically minded and work daily with computer
and minor networking problems. I would like to start training at a basic
level, so that I can learn as much as possible. Any help or suggestions
would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Robert

| I suggest starting on the MS 70-210 and move to the MCSE.
Sybex and Examcram seem to be the popular books along with the MS training
kits.
I am sure you will get great advice on the MCSE news group for other ideas.
A little more on goals etc. will help in giving good advice.
