| Hi
I've never done a certification course before and I am just a college
student, I was thinking of doing a MCP to build on the basic networking
skills (win2k) that I've previously studied.
Any ideas, advice from seasoned IT pros?

| Hey Ryan,
The best thing to do before sitting any of those exams, try to do some
practice questions first. There are a number of sites which you can attend
online practice questions. Make sure you read the answers and comments of
the questions when you finish. You can even subscribe to daily exam
questions.
If you let me know the exams you wish to sit first I'll send you some
questions based on them.

Don't forget to familiarize yourself with the resource kit for the product
you want to test on. Don read it cover to cover, but scan though it. I
find resouce kits to be very enlightening. If you subscribe to Technet you
get them on CD's or DVD's.

use it, even require it for homework.
