Hi all,
I passed the Commerce Server 2000 Exam (70-234) two weeks ago (you can
start congratulating me now ;-) which was the first Microsoft exam I
ever took. That Exam granted me MCP status - I am now waiting for the
"materials" to arrive in the (snail) mail.
I have read the MCP+SB (Microsoft Certified Professional + Site
Building) requirements at:
http://www.microsoft.com/traincert/...equirements.asp
and see that one of the Exams required is:
70-057 Designing and Implementing Commerce Solutions with Microsoft
Site Server 3.0 Commerce Edition
So, basically I have 2 questions:
1) Can Exam 70-234 (Designing and Implementing Solutions with
Microsoft Commerce Server 2000) be accepted as one of the two required
exams, since Commerce Server 2000 (the product), AFAIK, replaced Site
Server, Commerce Edition?
2) Does Microsoft intend to discontinue the MCP + SB program? By
reading the text at the end of
http://www.microsoft.com/traincert/mcp/default.asp I understand that
individuals that already have MCP + SB will remain certified. My
question is: Does Microsoft intend to maintain MCP + SB in the future,
or will that certification program end when its exams become
discontinued?
Thanks in advance.
Best wishes,
Ricardo Dias Marques
