Just started reading Developing windows based applications by Microsoft
Press in preparation for 70-316. On page 11 it states, "In C#, variables
are not given default initialization. Any attempt to use an un-initialized
variable, whether at a class level or a method level, will result in an
error."

While this statement is true for local variables, it's not for instance
("Class") variables.. From the C# lang spec:

"An instance variable of a class comes into existence when a new instance of
that class is created, and ceases to exist when there are no references to
that instance and the instance's destructor (if any) has executed.
The initial value of an instance variable of a class is the default value
(§5.2) of the variable's type."

Although this is not a big deal, my concern is about the quality of this
book.. I would appreciate it if anyone has used this book and passed 70-316
can speak to the book's quality. Does it have many errors? And if so, do
the amount of errors make it not worthwhile as a study guide?

Thanks,

Matt B.
