70-210 Windows 2000 Professional Test
|
|
| John Wilson 2002-07-15, 6:25 pm |
| I want to do my test soon for Windows 200 Pro
I have been studying with Learnkey materials & have been getting about
85 --> 100% on each CD
I have some questions about the test
1. Is there any practical parts to the test or is it all theory?
2. How long does the test last?
3. What is the pass rate?
4. Does it cover everything or just things at random?
I still don't know if I'm ready to take the test or am I worrying to much
Please help any advice would be great
Thanx

Sorry for the repeat post, but I noticed an inaccuracy.

The test asks scenario based questions. In other words, a situation is
presented to you that has a problem to solve. You have to apply your
knowledge of the product and select the correct solution.
> 2. How long does the test last?
I don't remember exactly how much time you are given. It is about 2
hours. For an exact answer on this question and your next question,
check out www.cramsession.com. They have good information of the
microsoft tests including some good study guides.
> 3. What is the pass rate?
540/1000
> 4. Does it cover everything or just things at random?
The test comes from a pool of questions and can be very targeted for
some takers but for others can seem to really jump around. You would do
well to learn and know as much material as you can. Focus on
installation (attended, unattended, remote), disk management, folder
permissions, performance monitoring and optimizing, printers and print
devices (yes, there is a difference), upgrading, etc.
> I still don't know if I'm ready to take the test or am I worrying to much
If you are consistently scoring 85% or so on practice exams, then you
shouldn't have too much to worry about. Focus on the areas where you are
weak and then schedule your exam. You should do fine, 210 is not that
hard.

| For 210, I think pass score is 640 or so, for 215 it's 540

Wrong. Pass score for 210 is 540. Pass for 215 is 660.
