Hello,
I'm seeking certification as an MCP for exam 70-215 (Installing,
Configuring, and Administering Microsoft Windows 2000 Server). I've worked
with Windows 2000 server systems for the last two or so years in my job as
an independent consultant, in that time I've configured 3 brand-new PDCs and
1 VPN server as well as repaired countless others. Here's my question:
should I set aside a machine in my home office/lab to run Windows 2000
Server so that I can "play around with it", or is the Microsoft Self-Study
curriculum sufficient?

Thank you,
Victor Boyer

P.S. Sorry if this double posts, the 1st message I sent this AM never showed
up.

Absolutely! It is a must have. BTW, there are no PDCs in W2K. All domain controllers are equal, now

Let me know if I can be of more assistance!

There's nothing better than "hands-on" it makes all that theory that much better to understand.
