| I have installed an evaluation copy of advanced server on
one of my home pc's. I am trying to build a little network
to practice for tests and such. Anyway, with all my
changing this, and changing that (playing around), I have
forgotten my administrator password. I just removed active
directory, and after restarting to let changes take
affect, I cannot log on. Can anyone help me get logged
back on without re-installing the whole thing again?
thanks in advance

| In a word, "No". You need to re-install, save all your settings (DHCP, IP
addresses, DNS, etc) then re-install.
However, there are tools and techniquies, some free, which "sometimes" will
work. I hae never had occasion to use them, but they are out there. In your
Browser, search for "lost password" or "recover password".
