You are off your head! You wanna buy your qualifications? That would make my 2k MCSE worthless. I worked v. hard for my status and continue to do so.

You devalue the MCSE! No wonder I cant earn £60k p/a

I work with 2003 at work and I've read books on 2003. But I'm still having a tough time with the upgrade exams.

For someone like me...I guess I'm not the best test taker; seem to overthink the question. Study aids have been very valuable.

Although I would agree, "paper" certifications does "devalue" since it is hard to judge from a resume, who is and who is not. But I don't believe I would be able to pass a third of my tests without study aids even with work experience.

So is testking a good resource for 292? Thanks

If you are an experienced Microsoft admin, which you must be to be upgrading. You need no help from me for 70-292.

70-296 is an other ball game!
You need to know it all. Clustering, SQL, general Exchange, ISA, IIS, AD, DNS,WINS questions should be expected. I had a Biz Talk question, I know nothing about it.

The CBT nugget video's are useful but impossible to apply to real world unless you have a large live network to 'play' with. Measure up and transcenders are also OK, expensive, but I put them on expences. I also like the Exam Cram books. Several different Microsoft and non-Microsoft sources are my best tip.

There are some Test kings I used for the NT exam prep when I was starting out, which did not help me. Many of the answers were wrong or missing.

Go sit the Exam, if you fail, go do it again the only true measure of exam readiness is to do it. My first attempt was 688 and it was worse than 70-216. Loads of scrolling and reading but as a fail, 688 is still a good first attempt, there's always more to learn but so long as I pass i don't care If I pass with 700.

You want my advice........you got it!
