I am just thinking about to get MCSE, should I go for
2000 or 2003? Are they basically the same?

It will be a while before MS discontinue the 2000 track, but I personally
would bite the bullet and gor for 2003 - you will work harder for it but you
will not have to go through the upgrade process to 2003 at a later date.

The track between the 2 is similar but 2003 offers more features than 2000
that you may want to know about.

Do you have experience in the industry? - If not I would strongly recommend
Net+ or A+ before considering MCSE.

It depends on whether you have a clear work environment mapped out. You can
of course go the 2000 route and then take the upgrade later, and thereby get
both

At some time it is likely the win2k exams will be withdrawn and then you
will need to certify on 2003

As a general rule of thumb, if you need to ask, MCSE is not for you.
If you do not know whether 2000 and 2003 are basically the same, and need to
ask, MCSE is not for you.
If you think your question is sufficient, without any reference to career
path, experience and current job, to get another answer, MCSE is not for
you.
