Hi All

I am seeking advice for the MCSE.I have taken up New
Horizons out here in Culver City,California for MCSE.

Is there any more material required besides the one which
new horizons will give like practice tests ,study material?

Also which test is the hardest? On an average I am working
40 hours a week on my job so how much effort should I be
putting in ?

How should one study for these tests ?

All help is appreciated

Chirag.

Probably, yes. In fact, probably lots.

I dunno. How experienced are you? Are you currently employed in IT?

Read books, use the product. Again, how much experience have you got?
Have you checked out the requirements on MS's website?

I took a couple of NT 4.0 classes at New Horizons back in '99 and I
couldn't have been more unimpressed. I suspect I was the only one in the
classes that was paying his own way and that everyone else's fees were
likely being paid by their companies. So people were showing up a half
hour or more late each day, coming back way late from lunch, and they
didn't care because it was basically vacation from work for them and they
weren't paying for it. The problem I had was that the instructors kept
waiting for the slackers instead of starting on time so I figure I lost a
minimum of five hours of instruction per course. I brought it to their
attention that they need to start on time but it didn't help.

Could you give me some examples of the books and training
materials to buy.

go to amazon and do a search for MCSE. Sybex & MS Press
usually get the best reviews for Study Guides. The MS
Press books can be dry and boring. Exam Cram is a good
review style book. Transcenders make good practice exams.

But most importantly get a lab setup were you can actually
use the product.
