| I just installed a new server, workstation, and a gigabit switch. I am
looking for free software that get cram packets from machine through switch
to server and see what speed throughput I am getting. I am looking to
measure the speed of the switch?
Pleease help.

plenty available to download.

| Cisco's switches have some commands you use to see the actual network throughput and etc.
You might want to take a look at your gigabit switch's handbooks because there might be some reference to that.
