what about it? are you looking to go that route? if so, you may want to
look at doing CCNA, CCNP, and CCDP prior to jumping right into CCIE.
However, the cisco newsgroup would probably be a better place to ask that
question... if indeed it was a question

Despite the lack of quotation, this was an answer to a question. The OP's
question, if you didn't get a chance to read it was:
"I'm already MCSE, MCDBA, & MCP holder. Any recommanded
course to take ?"
To which the appropriate answer would be "Get a degree, or some
experience," not "CCIE."

| Forgot to say...
I work at one of the biggest EMEA IT corporations... so, experience comes with the job!

Why not?... CCIE is a fantastic certification!!!
I have a University degree and a MCSE certification.
Now I'm having a Cisco Unity certification and then I'll be heading for CCIE!!!
But of course I will take CCNA and CCNP first... I'm not that crazy! =P CCIE is much harder than MCSE!

Very true and less likely to be brain dumped.
Ken's point was relating the fact that without real world experience,
it would be pretty much a [somewhat expensive] waste of time.
