i think you should never change the reg data.
if it is a server without connected to network or so,=20
once you start with dcpromo, ads will ask you that there=20
is no dns and give you an option to configure it now or=20
later. (for this moment you should have already given an=20
permanent ip and the subnetmask first)
without it it dosn=B4t work.
