48% Yankee. The South has won. Probably because I've lived in the South
for over half my life.

> 48% Yankee. The South has won.

46% (Yankee). There are traces of Yankee in you.

I wasn't happy with the last question. I don't call those bugs anything
except "you know those bugs that roll up into a ball when you touch them?",
so I changed my answer to "Pillbug", which is more "Northeast" than my
previous answer, "Roly Poly", and somehow, I lost 3% Yankee-ness. I don't
like this game.

By the way, y'all got "Brew thrus" and "Party Barns"? What a sweet idea.
You know, if you're too lazy to get out of the car to get your beer.

The test is flawed. It says I'm 47% yankee. I grew up in New Orleans. I
don't even know any damn yankees.

58% Barely Dixie.
The responses had me bouncing all over the map, but a couple of them pegged
me in North Carolina. Since I was born here and have lived here all my life,
I was fairly impressed that it picked up the many childhood influences to
pronunciation and terminology.

It would appear education level and childhood influences play a large role
in the survey.I was almost surprised it didn't peg me as a Yankee since I
spent summers as a youth at the beach with lots of foreign tourists and
winter vacations in New Jersey (just outside New York City).

I've been to NYC a few times, it didn't peg me as a criminal.

33% (Yankee). You have a good Yankee score.

Considering I grew up in The Bronx...home of, ahem, Yankee Stadium...
