Has anyone taken the exch 70-224 exam in the last month
or so? I've got the books but wanted to know if the
testkings are any good for this one.

Oh.. you are in deep deep shit now.. You should try to up the product
that you are gonna sit for the exam at least. Don't believe in overly
promised brain dump's site. testking is the most famous brain dump of
all and even if the questions are same as in exam, most of the answers
provided by brain dumps are wrong!!!

So be afraid, be very afraid and don't waste your time and money on
brain dumps.

Don't devalue yourself to be a paper MCSE. It is utterly foolish,
disillusional and self-destructive to yourself and your future career,
not to mention the added woes to the values of average MCSEs and
unemployment rates.

Get to know the real product. Don't try to cheat.

I'd say... I'm studying for my CCNP right now and have already bought 3
books and I have a few more I need to buy... one is a new book by Cisco
Press that is 2500 pages and costs $146+ tax CDN!!! By the time I am done I
will probably be after reading about 10,000 pages! Add to that, I do not
have the money for the equipment so I have to purchase a simulator for $134
and also will have to get some lab time somewhere... maybe my new job will
let me hide in their ops room during off hours to play around with the
routers and switches in there

Absolutely nothing. It's not the deadlines or your personal interests that
we give a crap about. It's how you acheived your ends. You cheated your way
through your certification. Do you know what this means?
1) You're a scummy cheater.
2) You do not know *how* to do things an MCSE/CCIE/whatever you are should
know how to do, because you memorized answers on a cheat sheet. This means
that you don't know how to do your job properly, and will leave a bad taste
in your boss' mouth in regards to certified professionals. This ruins the
certification for the rest of us. Not to mention the fact that, upon your
certification, you added one extra MCSE to the job pool, making it that
much harder for hte legitimate MCSEs to find jobs.

You haven't asked why we consider you a cheater, so I assume you know
already. But I have to ask: if you knew you were cheating, why didn't you
say something to your boss (or whomever imposed a deadline on you for
something you were so clearly unprepared for)? Why would you fake your way
through your job? Do you have no pride? I understand that you probably have
kids and a house and all kinds of bills. But your boss does too. I'm sure
he/she doesn't want to hire/promote someone to do work they're not
qualified for. This reflects poorly on him. So the question is: Why the
hell do you want to work for a company that would put you in this position?
You need to step back and rethink some stuff. Or just straight up tell
everyone you're an immoral assfscker.

As we saw here a few weeks back, people just don't understand the
situation, some don't even care. It would seem that this type of
'approach' for 'obtaining' cert's comes highly recommend by a number
of sites which operate today, so it's not surprising that people don't
see a problem in cheating their way through the process.

Microsoft do nothing about this and is why I won't be doing any more
microsoft certs. I guess that's no big lose either way.

I totally agree with you.

If Microsoft changes the way exams are done, I'd aprove it!
How the h*ll can you answer theoretical questions about such complex envoirnments such as a network and a whole bunch of servers?

That's why Cisco's examinations are much better than Microsoft's!
You won't get even a CCNA/CCNP without a few simulation questions!
You won't get a CCIE without a full lab examination, dealing with a full set of servers, routers and switches.

So, if Microsoft does anything similar to this, I'd aprove. Otherwise, it would be another stupid kind of examination!

Ditto. Except I'm 22. But the difference is I realize what the MCSE
actually is. It's not a certification for an early-20's kid. I have nowhere
near enough experience to get out there and pass all 7 exams. I'm doing
them as I gain experience. Not as I finish memorizing a Testking. I don't
know you or your personal situation, but I feel pretty safe in guessing
that you don't have much experience, judging from your age. So why do you
think you have the know how to be an MCSE? Because you downloaded some
br@indumps?

> And btw... my boss is actually one of the first MCSE and CCIE certified

Hmm. I'm the first guy named Ken Briscoe to pass a Microsoft exam while
wearing a leopard-skin do-rag and eating a Philly Cheesesteak. And the
kicker? I used Tarot cards to pass, not my real knowledge.

but to read about other people getting their certs, then
whining because you think they're cheating. very sad...

Crappy? Fine, everyone has their opinion.

Liar? Think not. Never bought/downloaded/stole/read a braindump. That's my
story and I'm sticking to it.

False moralist? Hey, I'm not the greatest guy in the world. Never claimed
to be. I've done some "wrong" things before. I'm not the epitomy of
morality here. But, depsite what a few of my actions may say, I am a person
of morals and values, and cheating isn't on the list.

Finger-pointing bullshit? This should be split into 2 parts:
a) Finger-pointing. Yes, I am pointing the finger. At you. Cheater.
b) Bullshit. Much like "crappy", this is subjective. I do not believe my
opinions are bullshit, but if you do, good for you.

As for your other posts where you refer to "us" (those in this thread that
oppose your study habits) as "jealous"...think again. Not one of us is
jealous of you. You have a job. Congratulations. Your boss likes you.
Congratulations. You have your youth. Congratulations. You're a "cool guy".
Congratulations. You're a cheater. Fsck off.

Oh I know the world's not fair. You are proof of that. Not that I envy your
position, because I'm quite happy with my current position.

So you're getting a few extra dollars in your paycheck every week - and the
price you pay is you have to live with the fact that you're scamming the
system for your own gain, and it's harming others. So it feels good that
people who know their stuff can't get a job because hiring managers can't
tell the difference between a dumper and a legitimate MCSE? You're stealing
jobs from deserving people, a-hole.

I've made it clear that I am not jealous of you. I am content with my
current job. And thank you for your support in regards to my current job
situation, but I can't return the compliment, as I am not happy that you

I never have.

Debating if the MSCE is an entry level cert is one thing; but
getting a copy of the test and studying that to pass can only
be considered cheating. I understand the temptation: who's
going to know and who gets hurt? Well, you are cheating
yourself and you are cheating your employer and you are
cheating those honest people who worked hard. If you use
br@indumps to supplement your study, then why? Do you
not have the confidence that you would pass without them?
I know that in the game of life time is money, get the cert now
and BS your way in, then get the experience. There may be
some that have done that and are now good techs. But lets
at least be honest about what br@indups are: cheating. If that
is OK with you then so be it, but don't insult the intelligence your
fellow newsgroupers by saying its not.

MSc in computer science,
Almost Twenty Two years experience in software engineering. Thus I
started out eleven years or so before Microsoft started their
certification program.
Twenty Four Microsoft exam passes (won't be adding to that total).
Plus a number of other exam's from other vendors.

Seen 'products' and technologies come and go and am quite able to keep
up with the pace without the need to cheat.

Oh and happy in my job too.

How the h*ll can you tell if someone's certification is worthless?
Just because people braindump to pass exams? Just because their study methods are different from yours?
How can you tell if they are even better professionals than you?
I still can't see... you folks myst be visionaries!

As long as Microsoft's examination procedures are stupid, study/passing methods must be stupid also!
Well stop those stupid multiple choice questions that have little to do with daily situations!!!
Make labs! Make full practical exams, in a real network full of servers, routers, switches, etc.!

Shall that day come, I will surely agree with all you (may I call it) "purists"!!!
Otherways... my humble opinion will not be changed.

I can't honestly see how any employer could be fooled into letting
anybody through the door without first determining how good they are.

Surely such companies don't exist (anymore)?

It's how employers and their client's see the value of cert's that
counts. Why on Earth would any employer give any regard to a
certification that can be 'bought' (or stolen) by someone who does not
understand the subject area?

If a certification proves nothing of one's ability, it's worthless.
