The IT industry employs among the top "cream of the crop" marketing, sales
and advertising staff in the world. We can probably make an arguement that
the marketing, sales and advertising staff are 100x more competent than the
products these companies are producing & trying to sell. So don't feel bad
for getting suckered. We all did. Just join the crowd, have a sense of
humor about it, and don't give up trying to be the best & most competent
"geek" the world has ever seen.
