| Obtaining your MCSE first is definitley not a good way to
enter the business. I would suggest taking some college
courses, reading some books on A+ certification and
practicing troubleshooting computer problems to gain an
entry level position as a computer tech somewhere. After
obtaining the understadnding of computing platforms, OS,
interworkings of a computer, and networking. Then start
study for your MCSE.
During the bustle of .com in late 90's, many people came
off the street, obtained their MCSE with no prior
experience, and are still not working in the industry
today. It is just not a good way to be initialy exposed
to IT. Like anything you have to start from the bottom,
learn the basics and work your way up. MCSE is and should
remain for the experienced IT professionals.
