| I'm 16 and I want to take the MCSE's
I went to the Microsoft's Web-site and there was one for
2000, XP, and 2003
Which one should I take. I have XP Home on my computer.
If someone can give me some pointers or could spare 10-30
min chatting with me and helping me. It would be greatly
appreciated.

| Go back to the Microsoft web site and read through some more of the
material. Only you can decide which you should certify in. Normally I
would say go with whatever you're employer is working with, but since you're
probably not employed you'll need to take a guess as to where the industry
will be when you are employable. XP Home is probably not going to help you
much from a networking perspective, but Microsoft's web site also give
recommendations for building test labs. You can get by with some really
cheap equipment for training purposes. If your family has the means maybe
you can build a network at home and practice.

| At 16, hmm go with the A+, and Network+, get into the IT field as a
helpdesk/desktop support tech. Get some experience, and then worry about
becoming an MCSE.
Don't we have enough paper MCSE's?
