I'v passed 70-270 2 weeks ago , it's cool i think
because it includes all of 70-210 as well as many new areas that are windows
xp features . I think is will be more usefull ! you know I have both 70-210
and 70-270 MCPs I think 70-270 can work as both .

yeah sure , since I live in Iran there is actualy no
resource on Windows XP specially study guides for MCSE exams and after long
searchs all I could find was
the study guide from microsoft press , I mean the official MCSE studyguid
for exam 70-270 installing , configuring and troubleshooting Windows XP , I
got through it only in one week and I took the exam in Dubai .
I don't know were you live but I hope you can find some better books and
also mock exams because I could'not find in Iran even in International book
fair . ofcourse I
had read different resources for windows 2000 mcp
and hence the networking , installation and configuration parts basicaly are
the same I didn't have in problem about them , in Windows XP there are only
some new areas of studies like remote assitance , remote desktop , log on
screen , fast user switching , Automatic System Recovery
and System Restore and ofcourese the new help system .
there are also some additionals switches to winnt32.exe.
the other major difference is in desktop configurations because every
options are now placed in a different locations and I were going to took
both win 2000 and xp exams sequentially it was really hard to remember what
option is where in which version .
well these were the major problems I faced with for that exams . I hope
they are usefull for you . and for last word only the networking part of
Windows Xp was very very chalenging for me although the basics are the same
with win 2000 .
hey I forgot to say other new features in Windows XP are
internet Firewall , and network bridge ,
yeah I cann't think of anyother features right now .
I hope u can use these information .
