| Hi there Jim,
I have used Mike Meyers' passport seris and the Sybex core 4 books.
Mike Meyers' are great, although I noticed a couple of spelling mistakes and
are interesting.
I felt the Sybex books were Micro$oft biased, but I come from a Solaris
background so I'm always going to think that
Each book is a completly different style so I felt they completmented each
other, except I used the passport seris more extensivly. You need a book
that takes you step-by-step though the exercises if you are a n00b,
therefore I recommend the Sybex.
Please note these are the only books I have ever used and bought them purly
on recommendation via Amazon or threads on this newsgroup.

| Zii Ell,
You have to be kidding right? "I felt the Sybex books were Micro$oft biased"
you are studying for a Microsoft exam, and you found the material to be MS
biased? What did you expect that it would extol the virtues of Linux?
