Hey,
My motherboard has an on board promise ultra ata controller. I am using
Bart's Network Boot disk to get to my share point that has ghost on it. I
can get to my share point just fine, but when I try to ghost TO the share I
get an Disk Sector Failure. I looked up this with symantec and they didn't
have any suggestions other than I might have a bad sector on my drive.Ok, so
I ran chkdsk on my drive cause my os is win2k and it has no bad sectors. I
ran defrag too and then tried it again. Same result, I think it's the ghost
program can't see my drive cause it's on an ata controller. I know when I
load the os I have to press F6 and load the driver or windows can't see it
either. One last thing I used sysprep too. Any thoughts? Anyone know much
about Bart's Boot disk and where I could load the inf file for the ultra
controller driver?

Hey,
Are you using 1 or 2 PCs ? - it's not clear from your post.
Can you write to the share when you boot from Bart's Network disk ?
If the share is on a remote PC, the hardware should be irrelevant to the
local PC.

I have run into this same error message when using two different versions of ghost. The image your trying to load might have been made with a different version.
