| Hi,
Just thought you'd like to know there is a new and revolutionary system specifically designed for helping you pass any written exam.
Check it out at www.easipass.co.uk
| |
|
| thanks for the spam, a$$wipe!
We'll make sure NOT to visit your site...
| easipass 2003-04-23, 1:54 am |
| I'm not certain what your problem is 'freak' but I can't follow your logic. Letting people know about a system which will truly help them to maximise their potential during exams doesn't seem to go with the term 'a$$wipe'. Perhaps you could explain.
Meanwhile, have fun....

| Interesting people on this forum with interesting anal fixations. Well, there ya go....
Have fun anyway..... | |
|
| The bottom line is that the way you have chosen to promote your site is wrong, and you will only encounter ire from those who built this community and others if you continue to act like that.
Nobody cares about your site or you unless you give them a chance to.
Linking to your site is one thing. Posting *only* to promote it is another.
You need to come in and give to the community before you spam them. Otherwise, you're seen - and rightly so - only as a parasite...makes sense?
| easipass 2003-04-24, 1:50 pm |
| Understood. That I can relate to. However, you're a fairly specialised forum and I'm not certain that I could contribute a great deal other than showing how individuals are able to use our system to pass exams. Everyone is aware that written exams can be scary things and can even hold you back because of the anxiety associated with them. We have developed techniques for overcoming this anxiety so people can maximise their potential. They're based on real and measureable psychological processes and we felt that your members might be interested to learn them so they can gain more confidence when approaching the exams that are related to your subjects.
OK, we're in business to sell our system but its a two-way street and users of the system can gain a great deal too. That's what I think is quite an ethical business as both sides gain.
Naturally your members are quite at liberty to see it as unsolicited spam but it was posted with the intention of both of us gaining and I don't see too much wrong with that.
Thanks for your thoughts however.
|
| If you really wanted to help, you would have contacted the owner of the site and offered to give away some of your stuff to some members.
What you did was spam a forum in the help of selling your wares. That's basically unpaid advertising...
| easipass 2003-04-24, 3:08 pm |
| Good idea. If any of your members have a written exam coming up and want to contact me through the website because they genuinely feel it could be of help, I'm happy to go along with that.
First ten will get the system free of charge.

But as spam goes, at least it's different.
It's an interesting concept, helping test takers not by braindumps, but by
helping them overcome testing anxiety. If they're legit, it's noble IMO.
Test anxiety is a real problem for a lot of people. Not me, though. I just
get drunk before I take the exam, and I do fine. Hope no employer ever
makes me take a quick exam sober.
And as spammers go, at least he's polite.

| Was a hippy in the '70's but too old now. Anyway, those who like a beer before an exam which a number of you seem to, perhaps I can suggest that you have a beer before you revise for the exam too. You'll then be in the same state revising and being examined - thats one of the points of state-dependent learning and its been shown to help you maximise your results. Of course you mightn't be in the same town.......but that's another story......
Have fun....... | |

Can state-dependent learning help me from "breaking the seal"?
