Hi,

I am currently running the Win 2K Server evaluation version. I only have
Log off, restart and shut down. How could I restart in MS-Dos or go to
MSDOS to perform format C:\? I would like to reformat my C drive. Thank
you.

Billy

You can use most DOS/Windows OS to boot from and in Fdisk you have the
possibility to remove even nonDOS partitions. After that you can create a
new partition and format.

You can boot the computer by the windows 2000 installation
CD.or you boot the computer by a windows 98 bootable
CD,then use a unity call "FDISK". delete the first
partition of you hard disk.

Just boot the computer from the CD-ROM, start the installation process and when you get to the SELECTION of the partition, you can DELETE the currect, create a new partition, FORMAT with NTFS and then continue the installation.

Posting HTML is not bad...It is only bad if you are stuck in the 20th century.

I'm in the SCA so I'm stuck in the 13th century.

Okay, we'll scrap the word "bad" and replace it with "annoying".
