| I am just starting my MCSA/MCSE track for Windows 2000 and was wondering, if
I have an MCSA then got my MCSE, is the MCSA still valid and could be still
advertised?
Thank you

| I was thinking about this the other day. It is the lesser of the two certs,
however, it is possible to have MCSE without MCSA and vice versa. I feel it
redundant to say MCSE, MCP, because you can't be an MCSE without being an
MCP, but these two????
Just my brain wondering in and out of coherent thought....

True. And if on that basis alone I'd advise against telling people you have
an MCSA (if your dealing with someone who knows the MCSE track well) because
it advertises that you took the trivial elective 218 instead of a real one
like... well like any of the other electives frankly.

Yeah, but it's also (usually) where all the hot office babes work.
