Yep, yet we do business with 'em - crazy...

We are. (USA)

By letting China adhere to a different set of standards then say countries
like Cuba. It's all about the Sacagawea's my friend.

Allow is not exactly correct...more to the point is "abetting". By not
placing sanctions, for matters like "pirated" software and music (which the
government is quick to allow on it's own citizen...govt. support of a purely
business issue...huum?), ignoring the invasion of Tibet, the bullying of
Hong Kong, Singapore...etc. Rampant bribery when finally allowing foreign
investments.

Yes ... the correct term is aiding and abetting!

Just because you are the "Big Dog" in the yard, doesn't mean you are allowed
to make your own rules. G.W. has been allowed to set a precedent, that will
haunt foreign relations generations to come. For a questionable concession
in the right path to foreign relations, we have given tacit approval to the
same or worse behaviors in other areas. A slippery slope has become not only
slipperier, it's also more acute.

No argument from me. I was just shocked to see billyw say "China is allowed
to play by
it's own rules" when he seems very opposed to what the US has done the last
few years.

Are you saying that the current president started this sucking up with
China? Cause I would have to go ahead and disagree with you on that.

Does the site look the same as testking? I've never been to it, but I'm just
wondering because test-king seems to spend a lot of time denying they aren't
the same as testking. In addition, the old testking.com site is now pointing
to smartcertify. You'd think they would point to another one of their own
sites.

it's the whole of the west, who's politicians are in the back pocket of big
business.#
but to talk of fair trade is a joke. china has little in the way of workers
rights, basic safety at work.. so they dont need to pay for all these extra
systems, is it any wonder they are cheaper... which would mean they aren't
playing on a level playing field.. which is unfair.. basically

What more could you possibly need?

You have every right to disagree. But that wasn't my contention. I choose
not to provoke any further discussion on this matter, because it will be
counter productive and eventually will be subject to or lead to claims of
moral superiority.

However, computers and computer security are going to be a very big issue in
national defense, What is war or being a so called super power, if not the
ability to project power outside your own borders?

I accept responsibility for carrying the discussion a little too far, my off
topic comments should be in another forum,

I believe that it was the Clinton Administration that pushed to give China
Most Favored Nation trading status, just after he took campaign money from
their monks and gave ballistic missile data to their spies.

But sure, GW is setting a dangerous example by taking a proactive stance
against global terrorism when the last administrations lax attitude allowed
if not encouraged these factions to grow unchecked.

IMHO...

test-king.com is a rip off of testking.com.

It's the summit of irony......A cheat site ripping off another cheat site....Tee Hee
CertCities

2003-11-20, 8:23 pm

Actually, on some recent mailings testking.com sent out (month or so
back), it included a note warning people about the "fake"
test-king.com and testking.org, saying that only testking.com was the
only "real" testking site -- The copycat sites were definitely getting
to them.

Anyway, these sites could be a reason that the primary Testking.com
URL was shut down. Or they could have recently purchased the competing
sites -- who knows? It's all up in the air until something solid
comes out as to what's going on.

Braindump sites send e-mails to CertCities? Or was this reported to you by
a customer?
