| Ok.....posted this to the AD group..didn't get much back....since most of
you are good at helping with real questions, here goes. The error message is
below:

SERVER1.OLD-DOMAIN.NEW-DOMAIN.com server. This is the DC with the RID Pool
allocator role in the source domain. It is required for move object
operation to work. The remote system refused the network connection.
2002-08-14 09:16:15-E26021: Failed to connect to domains for MoveObject,
hr=800704c9 The remote system refused the network connection.
2002-08-14 09:16:15-Operation completed.

I have applied all group security correctly. this happens during the user or
group migration. If I move a sample computer over from old to new it works
fine. Any ideas?

Is the destination domain in native mode?
Did you check DNS?
