Very sorry for your (and disc golf's) loss, Frisbee. I
did not know that it had been around since 1976 but a guy
that I grew up with was champ several years running (don't
know if he is currently). Even though I've known him all
his life, I still do not know anything about disc golf!

If I had a frisbee, I'd throw it for you Fris.......

I've never been a champ myself, but the best I've ever done is 78th place in
the Master's division (at that time, Masters we 30 or older, now 35 or
older) in the 1994 Pro World's in Port Arthur, TX. Okay, so there was
something like 82 people in that division, so I didn't finish last place! I
just love the sport, and always will.

The disc world is a (relatively) small one. Perhaps I know him, or know of
him.

What's his name?

you know him?

He's the our ten-time world champion. He didn't win last year, but he might
have this year. I've been frustrated in that there's been virtually no
on-line coverage this year. It was held in Houston this year, finished
Aug.10th, and none of the sites have posted results yet that I'm aware of.
Yes, I do know him, but I doubt he knows me.

He's an incredible player. For several years, nobody could even come close
to beating him, but he lost the last two years, I think.

He won his fifth title in 1994, when I was playing that world's.

Make that eleven. I finally checked the scores on-line. After nine and a
half rounds of eighteen holes, he won by twelve strokes. Ken's our Tiger
Woods.

Wow! I knew he had won a few times but I had no idea that=20
he was THAT good! I've known his whole family my entire=20
life. I haven't actually seen him in years although I've=20
seen his mom and his sisters. He's a really nice guy so=20
it's good to know that someone can be so talented and=20
still a good person.

It's called a "changeover". The movie goes on and nobody in the audience
has any idea...
