| What are your views on CCNA vs MCP and CCNP vs MCSE? Are there just as many
CCNP's as there are MCSE's? Is this a apple to oranges comparison? Just
wondering in the real world, which ones carry more weight on a job
interview. I know experience is the key these days, but which one of these
certs would give you a better chance of at least being granted an interview.

It depends on the type of work you want.
Cisco certs carry much more weight.

Hell I compare CCNA to at least an MCSA...maybe even the full MCSE these
days.
CCNP is just hard to get, at least that is what I here. It gets into detail
that most will never use, so comparing how many certs of each there are is
kind of worthless.

| You can't compare...
MCSE is microsoft server products
Cisco is networking
The only time they overlap would be on the networking core exam (70-216)
