| About a week ago I took and passed the dreaded 70-216. This was the
third test I have taken with the other 2 being 210 and 215. Next on
the list is 218. I am about 300 pages into the book and have not
found anything that wasn't covered on the previous tests I have taken.
Can someone tell me how this test compares? Seems like a waste of
time and money to retest what was done before.

218 is coverage of the material from 210, 215, 216, and a little 217.
It's questions are more "problem solving" based and test your ability to
maintain a windows network and troubleshoot problems that arise.
It's kinda like the "apprenticeship" requirement of the MCSA track. I
know this is a VERY loose analogy so don't jump all over my case,
everybody.
If you recently passed 210, 215 and 216, then I wouldn't waste any time
studying for 218. Just schedule the exam and do a little review, but you
won't need to spend hours reading and 'labbing', there is no new
material. Just make sure you can apply your knowledge of the other exams
to some 'real world' scenarios.

Getting 218 is the only way to become MCSA ... so ...
