Broke it down for you

| Lets look at the question.
"you are the admin of a win 2k pro computer. you have win2k service
pack1 on cd. you want to install windows 2k pro and the service pack in
the shortest possible time. "
The first sentence is meaningless. The third sentence says you want to
install Windows 2k (this means the operating system) then it says you also
want to install the SP.
So, the only answer is B and D.
B - because you need to install the OS, not just the SP.
D - because you want to install everything (shortest possible time) at one
time so you would slipstream the SP.
Does this help you?

Shouldn't help because he answered b, d and was told that he was wrong. The
reason is because it's a trick question. The slipstreaming does all the
copying to the shared directory that is needed so only A is necessary.
My suggestion here is to get used to that kind of question because they are
all over the exams. Be utterly literal minded.

| Oops, I meant A D as I had stated in my previous post.

I think we can both agree it's a dumb question :-)

| ahh yes i suppose you could pick a+d, i was asuming the file structure on
the cd was just as 1 file, like you download it from microsoft, so you would
need to extract it to the hard drive 1st, well if it comes pre-extracted on
the cd then yes you could!!
