becuz i keep finding contradicting information!!

12) You must configure your win2k pro computer with multiple monitors. you
currently have a single video card in the computer that uses 800*600 pixels
at a refresh rate of 85 Hertz. your current card and the one you are
installing are both on the HCL and are PCI video adaptors. You shut down the
computer, install the second card in an available PCI slot, and restart the
computer. The driver loads from windows 2k cab file. However, when you
restart the computer after loading the new drivers, only the primary display
is used and the secondary monitor is blank. When you view the Display
setings tab, you see two monitor icons. How can you resolve this problem so
both displays will work? (choose 1 answer)
a) place the secondary video card adaptor into PCI slot 0 or 1 (the first
PCI slot on the motherboard)
b)use primary and secondary video cards that are compatible.
c) install 3rd party drivers on the computer for the secondary adapter.
d) ensure the 'extend my windows desktop into this monitor' selection box is
selected.

\Documents and settings\DavidK. Access is denied, what should you do to
allow DavidK to log on? (choose 1 answer)
a) copy the All users profile to the Defualt user profile.
b) copy the Defualt users profile to the All users profile.
c) reset the permissions pn the \Documents and settings folder.
d) reset the permissions on the \Documents and settings\All users folder.

So, where'd you get the exam questions from? How can you be posting them
here, if you need to score 80% on it to pass?

This "company" sent you brain dumps... if they are a school you are wishing
to attend... I would leave now... they are offering a guarantee because they
are giving you REAL questions from the MS exams.
Yes, I do know the answers... No, in all honesty, I cannot, in good
conscience, give you the answers.
If you are just starting out, get some text books, do some reading, add MS
Technet to your favorites, study, ask questions here (that are not from
braindumps) and study some more. You will do fine without this so called
company who is trying to get you to give them your money. If MS ever caught
you with these questions, you would be stripped of any certifications you
hold with no reimbursement of testing costs. You would have to retake these
exams out of your pocket.
Best advice I can give you is throw those questions in the garbage before it
it too late. No, I am not trying to be doom and gloomish... this is a fact
that anyone here can verify.
If you have any further questions (again, not braindumps) feel free to ask
them here. Perhaps you can tell us where you are living... maybe someone
from your area might know a better school to take your training.
Take heart, you have been sucked in by a company who thrives on dishonesty
and theft, but you can get away from that. If you have already given them
money, ask them to refund you what they can and cut your losses... think of
how much money you will lose later if you have to retake these exams if MS
discovered this. (7 exams x $125 = 875 plus new books and proper study
material which can total in the 1000's overall).
You are not the first to fall for these "guarantee's" and won't be the last
but don't let it continue.

| I have heard of this type of company. Are you in the UK?
These are not braindump questions, they are questions from this company, and
they make them up and make them real hard. This is a way to make sure that
the person is going to pass the real exam so they will not have to pay out
on the guarantee that you will pass the exam.

Welcome to Microsoft certifications.... I distictly remember a few of these
questions on my exam... yes they are very wordy... MS does not just want
anyone to pass these certs. Now, in saying that, these exams are also not
hard to do either... you just have to know how to work through the question
to see what exactly they are asking what what is useless information... here
is an example...
First line of most questions....
you are a OU administrator for a company... you have X # of Servers, and X #
of Pro machines and X # of NT Workstations...
this is just an example... so you look at this line and you see..
1) you are an OU administrator... not domain... you have limited permissions
and rights; and
2) you are running in Mixed Mode
so you store this information away in your head...
Next it may tell you what h/w or s/w is running on these machines...
look closely at these facts... see if anything is very odd... like you have
a non-PXE compliant system ...
this could tell you you may have a problem with DHCP Servers during initial
setup.
Next it will tell you what problem you are encountering...
(using non-PXE compliant example above) you cannot contact DHCP server...
What do you do?
you would have ensure that your router could forward broadcasts or your DHCP
Server would have to be located in the same physical subnet as your client
machines.
Now this whole senario I just gave you is off the top of my head but it is
just to help you break apart the questions during the exam.
Another thing about braindumps (as this company has assuredly sent you),
they are written by individuals who may not be the brightest lightbulb in
the pack. If they have a problem with typing or the english language, you
will have a problem trying to decypher(???) what they are saying.
Again, I would stress that you ditch these questions, ask for your money
back and run for the hills. Tell they you are finding it to difficult and
want to try something else... it would be a lie but who cares? What would
you do if MS discovered this company's activities and shut them down...
locked them in finacially and you cannot get your money back AND you have
been stripped of your certifications... what then? You will be screwed my
friend, thats what!
Is this really a way you want to get certified? By cheating? Is it really
worth the risk? Are you willing to sacrifice your pride just for a few
exams?
You can do much better than that.

Not so. He would be barred for life.
A candidate caught cheating immediately loses any current certifications the
candidate holds
and is permanently ineligible for any MCP certification.

I've had a quick scan through a couple of braindumps for 210 and I can't
spot any of those questions as being real M$ ones. Maybe I've missed them
and they have just reworded them well enough for me to miss them when skim
reading but I think Mickael is probably right in that they are giving them
nice hard ones in order to avoid having to guarantee a pass.
There again your not being timed for the questions and you have access to
all the references you need to answer them.
PS. I'm not really responding to Susan here (she's killfiled me :-) ) so I
am just responding to Mickael and others. It's just hers was the one that
made the salient comment to which I reply.

His question #3 is too short to be a M$ exam question (maybe from a past
iteration of 210). Now his question #12 is another story altogether...I
distinctly remember seeing that one on my 210 exam (or maybe 215, but
either way, it is a M$ question). Looks like the company offering the
certification help is mixing some dumps in with other questions.

#12 was one of the multiple monitor questions and I've seen it before
too. But I haven't yet taken any of the MS exams, so I saw it on some
online site or practice test, but I can't remeber where I saw it!
I'm not looking at the known braindump sites but am using the various
free sites that are supposed to be "clean" as listed in
http://www.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/editorial...EditorialsID=26
and elsewhere.

He's obviously in some sort of boot camp that guarantees a passing
grade. He's paid them some $7,000, and *they* pay for his VUE tests....
but they won't sign him up and pay for the test until he gets 80% on
*their* tests, lest they wind up having to pay VUE for a bunch of re-
takes.

Michael, I sincerely hope that your C.V. is written better than the
above. I also hope that you were just in a tremendous hurry when
writing the above, and that such abbreviations and grammar oversights
are not typical of your business writing.
If not, then no certification in the world will help you get a job.
Knowing technology is not nearly enough. Articulate, well-spoken
people who are fluent in the written word are all that anyone is hiring
right now.
Before you get certified, make sure MCSE does not stand for "Michael
Can't Speak English".
Good luck!

XXXXin' spelling Nazi (hey Godwin's again). No one gives a shit. Come
writing something important everyone uses a spell checker etc. With a name
like Mickael, English may not even be his first language. The only time it
matters here is when it becomes incomprehensible and Mickael was pretty
clear.
