| Hi. I seem to have a problem. I have joined some machines, which already
have MSOffice installed, to a domain. I have not told the Domain
Controller to publish any software (although it does have a share with
the installation files on which I wish to keep for manual
installations), yet every time I open an MSOffice program the client
tries to reinstall it. How can I stop this? TIA.

This isn't the result of publishing software; it's a problem with
Office. Try this and see if it solves the problem:
