| Hey guys,
I've got WinXP on my computer and Win2000 advanced server on VMware. Can I
setup another virtual machine to install Win2000 pro configured as client to
server (to W2K Advanced server)
or
Would i have to dual boot my system with advanced server and xp and install
win2000 pro on VMware. If so, can you dual boot with WinXP to an older
operating system if WinXP was the first one installed?

Yes, if you have enough memory.

| I've done that and for some reason it cannot connect the advanced server
session (dhcp, dns and domain controller).... how do you configure to VMware
sessions to connect with each other?

Did you configure them for bridged, NATted, or host-only networking?
VMWare has newsgroups that might prove helpful to you; this is a good
place to start:
http://www.vmware.com/support/
This, in particular, should help:
http://www.vmware.com/support/ws3/doc/network_ws.html

| and - if you install W2k after XP you will need to
replace the ntdetect.com and for consistency ntldr
in order to boot XP, so save these before the W2k
install.

She does, however, if you're trying to become an MCSE, you should
understand a few things:
1. This is USENET. Support, such as it maybe, should be asked for, and
offered here, in the groups, not in email or IM. Folks hang out here to
help when they can, or when the feel like helping out. Email is private,
as is IM.
2. You need to learn the basics of USENET. 99% of the posts here have
the poster's email address in the headers of the post. Some are
disguised.

That's why I want her email because I want to ask her something non-IT
related

Sure is, however, doesn't really take a genius to decipher it.
