Hi,

Here's an question that I have. Server 1 is in domain A, and Server 2 in
domain 2.
When I go to server 1 and use "domain.msc" and setup a trust relationship
with server 2.
An error message came up and said . "RPC server is unavailable."
I went to services and stop RPC and start again, still have that error
message came.
Can somebody help me on this??

When I setup a DNS , I tried to name Server 1 called "boy"
server 2 is "girl".

do I need to set those up back to boy.com and girl.com instead of only
called that to be a "boy" domain?

That's just what I guess. I am not sure is right....Thank you.

RPC errors in the circumstances you describe are usually indicative
of DNS or other name resolution problems. With that said, I can't
help you much more beyond that as I can't really figure out how your
domains are structured and you've not identified whether they're 2000
domains, whether they're in the same forest and why you're trying to
establish a manual trust.
