OT: A+ braindumps anyone?
|
|
| Bailey 2002-06-24, 9:25 pm |
| A friend of mine is taking the A+ courses and I told him about the
braindump sites, but all I can find for him are braindumps dated back
to 2000. He's not too computer savvy and is only taking this because
his job is making him and he wants to look good and pass, so if anyone
knows where to find good A+ braindumps, please post and let me know.
I couldn't find any A+/CompTIA newsgroups, but figured MCSE guys are
much smarter than A+ people, that you guys could help me out. Thanks.

yeah we are smarter... we dont use braindumps. If your friend is not that
smart that he cannot pass on studying textbooks and hands on alone, then he
should consider another field. Especially if his job requires that
certification... if that is truely the case, then he has (or should have)
experience with hardware/software in order to do his job... which is a lot
more than others who have studied hard and passed the exam w/o dumps. The
same could be said for you since YOU suggested it to him.
go to alt.certification.a-plus for their newsgroup but they will tell you
the same. And I doubt they would appreciate being told that they were not
as smart as other people. good luck... you are going to need it

So why the hell does he deserve to pass, this newsgroup is for workers and
achievers.

| If he cannot pass a simple test like the A+ without cheating, how
the hell is he going to do the job that is required of him? Sounds
like you are two of a kind - you are not too swift for suggesting
that he cheat in order to pass. You must also think that your
employer is not going to notice he cannot do a job that he
claims to be qualified for? The A+ is not a difficult exam - I
really do not see a reason you need to bother cheating in order
to pass.
My suggestion would be that he (and you) both get off your
rear ends and actually STUDY THE MATERIAL that you
are supposed to be certified on...

| Wow, sorry I asked! Like I said, its not for me, just a friend that
wanted to be sure pass and do better than everyone else that will take
the course also. A+ has nothing to do with his job really....he will
never use any of it. The thing is all the office people do is sit
around, so the manager is sending them to classes to make it look like
they do something. Its more for show to keep upper management happy
than actually using the class.
Some of you people need to lighten up though....it was just a
question.

| If his manager is sending him to a class than have your friend study the material they offer in class and have him take a computer and take it appart and put it back together and then he should have no problem with passing the 2 exams it takes to become an A+ cert. Tech.
The only reason everyone is getting upset about this is because we all worked for our certification and those who did not give us a bad name. Say your friend does get the cert from using the dumps and then changes his job and puts that cert on his resume and a manager interviews him due to having the cert and he is a complete moron then they are going to think that the A+ is nothing and that any moron your friend for example would beable to get the cert | |

CompTia has come down hard on braindump sites/study guides- even threatening
legal action, if I'm not mistaken. That's why they're hard to find.
I wish some other companies would do the same thing.

| I think you are missing the point. If a manager is willing to spend
money to send a person on a course to learn the material to pass
the A+ certification, you bet your bottom dollar that the manager
expects to see SOMETHING for his investment - more than just
a piece of paper hanging over a persons desk. If that is really all
the manger wants, a few minutes with something like Print Shop
and a good printer will produce the same results, for all the good
it will do...
You seem to take a very casual attitude towards the skill sets and
required knowledge in order to know and pass a certification exam.
Personally, I have invested a good deal of my lifetime educating
myself, and keeping my skill set current and relevant to what the
needs of the marketplace dictate. Organizations, like CompTIA,
Microsoft, Cisco, and many others want their certifications to
mean something more than just a piece of paper - the goal is for
the person to KNOW THE MATERIAL. Plain and simple. It
bothers me, and many of my fellow professionals to no end to
see people who are bound and determined to not only cheat (by
not knowing the material), but adding insult to injury by looking for
me to HELP THEM CHEAT. I don't think so...
Tell your "friend" to get off his XXX, and learn the material - who
knows - he just might learn something useful in the process! Marks
are irrelevant, so who gets the highest score really means nothing.
Know the material, pass the test - seems pretty simple to me.

Microsoft has finally gotten into the act. I'll post more on the
topic later.
