| Hi,
Ok, the music... if you must use it give the people who come to your site
the option to listen, forcing music upon people isn't a good idea. They
might not even like your kind of music...
2. IE6 it looks good, in NN 6.2.1 (Netscape) its a disaster (only images
and a few lines of txt.)
3. Loading time, yikes, you're glad I'm not on dial-up :-)
HTML Size: 19606 Bytes
Images: 184847 Bytes
You will lose your audience fast with that. People don't like to wait
that long.
4. On your certification page, in the txt boxes the font is like 7.5pt in
Arial? Don't you think that's a bit small (well at least with a screen
resolution of 1024*768 and the higher it gets the smaller it will
become).
Don't forget your metatags, description, keywords, spider.. etc
I would make the buttons on the right side point into the logo in the
middle, that will keep the top in balance.
Are you a startrek fan? buttons look a way like it. :-)
Just my opinion on it
Pheadra
PS. sofar it looks good, just a few things here and there, if you're
opening in a month you should be able to fix it.

| This was really helpful. I have a couple of questions, if you don't mind.

consider it gone...

I don't know HTML at all, so I've used Front Page 2002. I was worried about
something like this. Problem is, I don't know how to fix it. I tried using
Dreamweaver, and I even bought some books to learn how to use it. I just
couldn't get the hang of it (in a short period of time). Any suggestions?

I really didn't know how to get past this one either. Should I lose some of
the images? I have used high speed for so long, I don't even notice. I
don't know how to reduce the HTML size either.

I was wondering about this as well. I like alot of screen area, but
everyone around me tells me they use 800x600. So you think I should make
the text bigger? I was afraid it would look 'wordy'. What do you think?

Yes. lol, but I wasn't trying to go for that look. It must have come out in
my subconscious.
thanks so much for the help

Ask away, if I know the answer I will tell....

Netscape doesn't support VML/XML that is your problem, why not do
it in plain HTML? I never use books... all that I learned with HTML
I learned the hardway by doing it and testing it. Dreamweaver isn't
that hard, you just have to know some html.

The HTML size is just over 19k not too bad considering all the
characters that are in there.
I know images are a crime if you a few on your site.
If you run your site through
http://www.echoecho.com/toolhtmlinspector.htm > hit "check my
site" and look under "load time", you will see your images as a
hyperlink. By clicking shift+link one of those image hyperlinks it
will pop-up a screen and you can choose from your own reduced size
images. The site also gives you a lot of other information.
Btw with what program did you make those images? Photoshop?
Maybe a option is to make the buttons smaller or even make a menu.

Personally I think between the 10-12pt is a nice format. Fontfamily is a
option. example <body bgcolor="#FFFFFF" text="#000000" style="font-family:
Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif; link="#E5E1C3" vlink="#0033CC"
alink="#00CC00" link="#FF0000">

| I have dial up access, and I did not find the loading time that bad.
Nothing that would chase me away.
When I look at the main page, the text links at the bottom are not at the
bottom, the top line of the links runs right through the words Consulting
and Training in the images. This only happens when I have the font size in
IE set to something less than medium, on medium, it is in the correct place.
I think having the planetmcse logo twice on the main page is too much. If
the site is planet mcse, then have it at the top, but dont have it on the
training link. Find something else for that image. For the planet mcse
logo in the upper left, you are cutting off the bottom of the image, and
losing part of the shadow.
