What it is it?

Microsoft has released Microsoft Software Update Services (SUS). SUS
is now available for free download at:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/windowsupdate/sus

This tool was announced, and is being delivered, as part of the
Strategic Technology Protection Program announced last fall.
Formerly known as Corporate Windows Update or Federated Windows
Update, SUS is a security patch management tool targeted at small to
medium sized enterprises that offers a simple, effective and quick
way for administrators to distribute critical operating system fixes
and security roll-ups to Windows 2000 Servers and Windows
2000/Windows XP Professional desktops.
