| Its a fact, anyone can on the internet, or newsgroups be
anything they wish to be. I today was smarter than
Einstein!! Not difficult really, its all relative you
see, he's dead, Im not (QED)
Yesterday, I entered a chat room, and said Hi, Im a real
Zebra, 32 people believed me!!!!
Today Im an MCSA charter member, MCSE in wondows 2000 and
NT4 and a British Computer Society Professional member.
Does this make me a better person than anyone else? It
would be a very sad world if it did. Bossting my ego, on
here, to people Ive never met would be futile.
Still I chuckle to myself when reading the posts, and I
bow respectfully to those masters of the cutting remark
who put down people with less than 3 words, or sometimes
hundreds.
Am I better than anyone else, nope, Im just me, getting
certified to help me in my career at no ones expense, and
if I can help anyone along the way, then I'm happy.
To all the people out there working hard at developing
themselves, and to all those who help them, you have my
respect.
Regards Neil.

| You miss the point, this is a community, where people from all walks of life
interact, if I came to you and said " I want to throw away my career in
quantum physics and become a network admin" I would expect (and hope) you'd
tell me the difficulties I would face in doing so, lets face it, I'd have no
chance of a job and at best 13-15k wages to aim at. That sounds a put down
doesn't it? But look at it closely, it is good advice at the moment, there
are no £30k starter jobs anymore for newbie MCSE's.
This is how I see it.
1) Ask for illegal software here and you deserve a 3 word put down
2) Ask for braindump sites here and you deserve a 3 word put down
3) Ask a stupid question here (how many questions.....what's the passing
score... the answers of which are all clearly at www.microsoft.com )
deserves a 3 word put down
4) Claim to be a zebra or indeed a law enforcing superhero deserves a 3 word
put down
5) Above all have the ability to make fun and have fun made out of yourself,
serious questions are answered seriously, look through the archives if you
don't believe me.

Last I checked, MS does not post that kind of information about their exams
on their site. You usually have to go digging elsewhere to find out the
number of questions and passing score. Not to mention the fact that these
variables change whenever MS revamps an exam.
BTW - for those wondering the above questions: check out
http://studyguides.cramsession.com/
They have good exam information and "non-braindump" study guides. I have
used their study guides for all of my exams. They do not cover everything,
but they are very thorough and help you to reinforce key concepts. Good
review stuff.

| The reason it doesn't appear on the MS website is because it is a stupid
question because the answer does't benifit anyone. What does it matter how
many questions there are. It's irrelevant and doesn't deserve an intelegent
answer because . A better question would be what are the subject matters
are involved in the exams in which case you would point them to
www.microsoft.com .
